GOT QUESTIONS? WE HAVE ANSWERS

How does the Back-to-School for Writers Bundle work?

Great question! First, fill in your name and email address after you click the button. We’ll email you the link to the free gift page when the doors open.

Then, you can sign up for all the individual gifts that you want! You get to choose from over 50 free gifts. Most (but not all) are free all the time on the contributors’ websites, but during this event, you can go down the page and browse the offerings in one convenient place. You’re welcome!

Will I be added to every contributor’s email list?

Absolutely not. When you sign up for access to the gift page, you will be added to the email lists of the three organizers: Stacy Juba, Emma Dhesi, and Kat Caldwell. You can unsubscribe at any time, but we treat our subscribers like gold.

Beyond that, you will only get added to people’s email list when you claim their gift.  If you want to unsubscribe immediately, you can go ahead and do so.

But trust us, you’re going to want to get to know these teachers. A lot of people online call themselves editors, writing coaches, or book marketing professionals, but they don’t have the credentials to back it up.

All the Back-to-School For Writers Bundle experts are reputable and vetted; it’s just a matter of getting to know them and seeing which ones you connect with the most.

Can I sign up for gifts after October 7 if I have the link?

Nope. You’ll get access to the Back-to-School for Writers Bundle gift page until Oct. 7. After midnight, if you visit the gift mall link, you will be redirected to a ‘You missed it’ page.

What’s the catch?

The only catch to the Back-to-School for Writers Bundle is that you have to sign up for each individual gift before Oct. 7.

The contributors are giving away these amazing free products because they want to connect with writers who may need their help.

If you sign up for a product, you will be added to that contributor’s mailing list. That way you can get to know our contributors, discover what else they offer, and see if you’d like to work with them more in the future. If the emails don’t resonate with you, feel free to unsubscribe.

We have 30 contributors and certainly don’t expect you to stick with all of them forever, but even if you find just a couple you feel drawn to, that could have a huge impact on your writing career. It’s win-win. You find reputable teachers you resonate with, and we connect with the writers who need our help.

What kind of things can I sign up for?

You get to pick and choose from over 50 free gifts including:

  • Questions to ask your protagonist
  • Publishing timeline calculator
  • Book marketing activities you can stop doing
  • Worldbuilding workbooks
  • Secrets to building your daily word count
  • Book proposal template
  • Dialogue essentials
  • Creating titles
  • Book launch checklist
  • And much more!

Who is running this thing?

Glad you asked! Kat Caldwell, Emma Dhesi, and Stacy Juba are sponsoring the event and we all have free resources you can explore on the gift mall page. Emma and Kat are book coaches and podcasters, and Stacy is a freelance editor. All of us have online courses for writers.

It’s our mission to help writers achieve their writing dreams.

We’re so excited to bring you this wealth of free resources!
