HELP ME GET ORGANIZED

Struggling to Balance Your Writing Dreams With Everyday Responsibilities?

Between a day job, family commitments, and endless distractions, it can feel impossible to establish a consistent writing routine. You might procrastinate, bounce from one unfinished project to another, and question whether you’re cut out to be an author.

After pouring your heart into writing and editing your manuscript, the work doesn’t stop. Publishing, marketing, newsletters, websites, social media, and other behind-the-scenes tasks all compete for your attention. Before long, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and unsure where to focus next.

Hi there! I’m Stacy Juba.

I teach authors how to simplify the writing and editing process, fit their goals into a busy life, and develop a positive mindset.

Over the decades, I’ve pursued my book publishing dreams through various phases of life, including:

• Living in a college dorm while majoring in exercise science/health fitness with a minor in management

• Working full time as a newspaper reporter, health and lifestyles writer, and event planner/publicist

• Raising a family while freelancing for regional magazines and non-profit wellness organizations and running my editing and online course creation business

• Managing new health diagnoses such as my daughter’s Type 1 Diabetes and my Celiac Disease

Throughout these changes, writing remained my passion. I’ve celebrated successes like winning fiction and journalism competitions, landing an agent, signing publishing contracts, and seeing my books achieve ranks such as #5 and #11 in the Nook Store and #30 on the Amazon Kindle Paid List.

I’m going to be honest—my writing journey wasn’t always easy.

Even during good times, I often felt discouraged, exhausted, and overwhelmed.

I’d stay up until 2 a.m., trying to finish a chapter or tackle my to-do list, paying for it the next day. This struggle led me to seek better methods to avoid burnout and make the most of the time I spent writing.

I combined research skills from my journalism background, insights from my degree in health fitness and management, a background in event planning and marketing, and decades of experience in writing, editing, and publishing to develop and test a variety of strategies.

After much trial and error, I created a 4-part framework that helped me get organized, strengthen my routines, and advance my career without sacrificing my well-being.

Now, I’m excited to share it with you.

SO MANY IDEAS!

“I’ve enjoyed this class. So many ideas/techniques/advice to improve my time management! I am slowly inputting much of what you presented into my daily routine. I really liked the fact that you didn’t provide a ‘cookie cutter’ form of time management that we are supposed to squeeze our lives into because I have discovered squeezing my life into some tried-and-true style means there is an overflow somewhere that is getting neglected.” Janna K.

Making progress on writing goals

“I managed to clear two months’ worth of clutter (accumulated while I spent most of two months at the hospital with my daughter) from my kitchen, fridge, freezer, living room, and office. I still backslide, and my office could use another round of tidying, but I am actually making progress on my big 90-day goals and managing to make headway with my writing again. My to-do list is still out of control, but I have a plan and a strategy for getting it back on track and transitioning to better systems.” Jenn L. Bradshaw
