Hey, there! I’m an author of 10 books, a freelance developmental editor, online course creator, freelance journalist, mom of two, cat owner, yoga enthusiast . . .
Whew! I’m busy, just like you are. I caught the writing bug in third grade and it has stuck with me ever since. If you’re reading this, then I’m going to hazard a guess that you have the writing bug, too.
A passion for telling stories is a wonderful thing, but we call it the writing bug for a reason.
Just like a medical ailment, it comes with some unpleasant symptoms:
😟 Overwhelm when you stare at a blank page as you’re not sure what to write next.
😟 Overwhelm when you stare at a filled page, wondering how you’re going to pull off a rewrite.
😟 Confusion about what to fix first. Plot holes? Characters? Body language? Description? Voice? Pacing? Word choice? The list seems endless.
😟 A nagging urge to write your story while you’re working, making dinner, watching TV, taking a shower, or marketing your published book.
😟 Guilt that you’re too tired to write when you finally have time.
Can you relate to any of these? I’ve grappled with ALL of these “symptoms” over the years, and I’ve also watched my editing clients struggle with them.
That’s why I’ve developed proven systems to help you streamline the editing process, transform your writing, and manage your time better. Want to get your hands on my tips and tricks? Keep reading!
