Are you a writer drowning in your to-do list?
Get instant access to a simple, proven system that has helped hundreds of authors become more organized, productive, and creative without the overwhelm.

I can’t wait to tell you all about it. But first, let me introduce myself. Hi, I’m Stacy.
I help fiction and creative nonfiction writers of all levels who want to simplify the writing and editing process so they can save time and money. I do this through my online courses for writers and freelance developmental editing service. Â
I’m also the mom of two teens, am obsessed with the TV show Supernatural, and have a bizarre fascination with office supplies and planners. Over the decades, I’ve pursued my writing goals during many phases of life:Â
â² As a college student living in a dorm, on deadline with Avon Books.
â² While working full-time as an award-winning newspaper reporter, planning my wedding, and coping with rejections from agents and publishers.
â² During my pregnancies while doing freelance writing and meeting the expectations of my literary agent.
â² When my kids were babies, toddlers, preschoolers, middle-schoolers, and high-schoolers. In the meantime, I was also volunteering in classrooms, chauffeuring the kids around, running my editing and online course business, doing freelance writing, and promoting my published books.
â² While dealing with health problems and family issues including: an undiagnosed thyroid disorder that had me in a constant state of brain fog; the depression and anxiety I was grappling with after my daughter’s Type 1 diabetes diagnosis in kindergarten; and during my mother-in-law’s struggle with Alzheimer’s.Â
Through all the changes, writing was the one constant. I celebrated successes like winning the William F. Deeck â Malice Domestic Grant for new mystery writers, signing publishing contracts, and my books achieving ranks such as #5 and #11 in the Nook Store and #30 on the Amazon Kindle Paid List.

It wasn’t easy, though. There were months where my Type A personality drove me to exhaustion, rejection or a negative review triggered my Imposter Syndrome, or I was too stressed to focus on writing.
During my lowest point, I hit rock bottom and went on a quest to get healthier, tap into my creativity, and finish my latest book.
When I surveyed my writing students and editing clients about their biggest obstacles, it surprised me how many noted time management and overwhelm.
I created Time Management Blueprint for Writers to share my 4-part framework, developed after years of trying different strategies and seeing what worked.
Are you ready to stop spinning your wheels?
Gain powerful and practical tools to get organized, find balance, and accomplish your writing goals. This self-paced course geared specifically toward writers will guide you through a 4-step framework for streamlining your life one step at a time.

It can feel impossible to balance your author dreams with a day job, family responsibilities, household chores, and a never-ending list of distractions all vying for your attention. Everything seems urgent and youâre pulled in too many directions, which can result in fatigue, stress, irritability, and frustration that you lack the time and energy to pursue your passion.Â
When authors get overwhelmed, manuscripts sit unfinished, query letters remain unsent, and published books suffer lackluster sales without the promotion they deserve.
In Time Management Blueprint for Writers, you’ll assess your life in four key areas:
1. Electronic Clutter
2. External Clutter
3. Internal Clutter
4. Getting Things Done

Get tips and hacks for:
âï¸ Handling email and social media so you can stop getting distracted
âï¸ Organizing your digital files, passwords, and bookmarks to have important information at your fingertips
âï¸ Automating routine tasks and getting more hours back in your day
âï¸ Decluttering your home so you don’t feel stressed the minute you walk in the door
âï¸ Setting up an inspiring writing environment and routine that makes you eager to work on your book
âï¸ Rejuvenating yourself to improve focus, motivation, creativity, and energy levels
âï¸ Prioritizing, planning, and breaking down projects into manageable steps so you stop wasting time on busy work and do the tasks that bring you closer to your goals

Do you ever feel as if youâre juggling too many balls and your writing career is always the one that gets dropped?
Maybe these problems sound familiar . . .
â Procrastination because you’re overwhelmed, distracted by email and social media, or a perfectionist. Â
â Lack of focus from too many ideas and projects vying for your attention. And let’s not forget about Shiny Object Syndrome. Are you up to your ears in writing podcasts, TikTok workshops, Amazon ad challenges, and free masterclasses that have you jumping from one priority to another and getting nowhere?
â A home that’s a disaster zone from the kitchen to the bathroom to your writing space. (if you even have a regular writing space.)Â Â
â Disorganization and wasted time searching for notes, login passwords, and computer files scattered all over the place.Â
â Mental exhaustion with zero energy left to write, pursue hobbies, or maintain healthy habits like exercise.Â
â Unproductive writing sessions due to lack of planning, writer’s block, or interruptions. Or maybe you’re thinking, what writing sessions?
â Workaholic tendencies that drive you to the point of burnout.

And then there are barriers like Imposter Syndrome. Do bad reviews ruin your day and you fear that the nasty Amazon customer might be right?
Do you ever worry that . . .
â Your book won’t be good enough?
â You won’t reach your income goals?
â Success might disrupt your life?
Do any of these hit home? Good news!
I have a 4-step framework that’s a powerful remedy to these frustrations. Here’s what other authors have said about the system.

How this course stacks up to other programs
Other courses typically focus on one thing such as:
â Managing your email

â OR having a more productive writing routine
With Time Management Blueprint for Writers, it’s like multiple courses in one except that each module builds on the next and all the content is part of one cohesive framework.
You’ll still go in depth into each subject but you’ll learn WHY these techniques are important and HOW they will make you more creative and productive.

Sprinkled throughout the lessons are helpful suggestions on:
âï¸ Writing rituals

SO MANY IDEAS!
“I’ve enjoyed this class. So many ideas/techniques/advice to improve my time management! I am slowly inputting much of what you presented into my daily routine. I really liked the fact that you didn’t provide a ‘cookie cutter’ form of time management that we are supposed to squeeze our lives into because I have discovered squeezing my life into some tried and true style means there is an overflow somewhere that is getting neglected.” Janna K.
Making progress on writing goals
“I managed to clear two months’ worth of clutter (accumulated while I spent most of two months at the hospital with my daughter) from my kitchen, fridge, freezer, living room, and office. I still backslide and my office could use another round of tidying, but I am actually making progress on my big 90-day goals and managing to make headway with my writing again. My to-do list is still out of control, but I have a plan and a strategy for getting it back on track and transitioning to better systems.” Jenn L. BradshawÂ
Still Have Questions? I Have Answers.
Q. Isn't it more important to write than take a course about making time to write?
A. The course lessons are designed to be short and flexible, allowing you to progress at your own pace without compromising your writing time. Hereâs the truth:
Many writers face challenges that hinder their productivity and progress. Some writers find themselves caught in a cycle of churning out one book after another, pushing themselves to the brink of burnout and risking their health.
On the other hand, there are writers who struggle to find dedicated writing time amidst overwhelming responsibilities, procrastination, self-doubt, and other obstacles.
By taking the course, you’ll learn essential techniques to break free from the cycle of overworking or struggling to find time to write. You’ll develop a healthier and more sustainable approach to your writing, ensuring long-term success without sacrificing your well-being.
Q. Is there anyone this course isn't for?
This course is designed to cater to a wide range of writers, but it does require an open mind and willingness to explore beyond traditional “getting things done” tips.
While we extensively cover topics like quarterly planning, goal setting, weekly planning, scheduling, and maximizing writing and book marketing sessions (which are favorite topics for many participants), it also delves deeper into other important aspects of time management. These include:
- Managing email and social media distractions
- Organizing your computer files
- Decluttering your home for a conducive writing environment
- Connecting with your creative muse
- Mastering your mindset and overcoming self-sabotage
- Having productive writing sessions
- Planning your goals
- Establishing boundaries around your writing time without negatively impacting your relationships with loved ones
If you’re open to exploring a comprehensive approach to time management that encompasses both practical strategies and a holistic perspective, this course will provide you with valuable insights and techniques to transform your writing routine and other aspects of your life.
Q. Is there a deadline to finish the course?
A. Don’t worry, I’m not going to rush you! After all, I want to help you manage your time, not stress you out even more. The course is self-paced and you’ll have lifetime access. You will receive login information to the private classroom which you can access on any device thatâs connected to the internet. Once you register, youâll be able to use this resource over and over and will receive any future updates.
Some writers work on one module per week, and others one module per month. The lessons are short and give you action steps to implement at your convenience.
Q. Can I share this course with my writer friends or clients?
A. You’re welcome to share a link where they can buy the course. You can even join the affiliate program and get a commission on sales.
